Why This Project Matters

The Metro World Child internship program is a unique 4-month ministry training program right in the heart of New York City. 

As an intern I will be joining a team of ministers as we take the Gospel to the streets, serving as ambassadors of love and bringing a message of hope to children and their families in underprivileged communities.

 I am excited about the opportunity to learn a variety of valuable ministry and life skills that will help me in my career path down the road; skills such lesson writing, public speaking and communication techniques as well as team building and growing as a leader also.  I know that the challenges ahead are big but that God is even bigger and that this is just the beginning of the incredible things that God has for my life.

I am currently in my second semester of internship, I get the opportunity to serve alongside the Education & Training Department, I will be helping them during the week to prepare for our Indoor Sunday School program. I will also visit my assigned area and do the program there once a week!
